Signing
Nick and I have deceided to start signing with Caleb to help him communicate before he can speak...
"It is a fact that infants develop the fine muscles in their hands before they develop those required for speech, so they’re equipped to communicate with you before they can speak"
We are excited to see how Caleb picks this up and uses it with us! It may be months until he can communicate back with us but he is absorbing all of the signs and making the connections right now.

Upcoming trips
We have two trips planned this year to visit some family we wanted to let everyone know about:
The first is November 16- November 18. We are heading up to Vegas for Mom's 60th birthday! We will be staying with Dad both nights and I believe Erica will be there with her two kids, Evan and Emicoe. We are looking forward to spending some time with my side of the family and introducing little Caleb to more of my family.
The second trip is December 25-December 30. We are flying to Colorado for Christmas to spend some time with my side of the family again. Sean and Laura are flying out from Hawaii, so it will be Caleb's first time meeting them. We will be staying with Doug and Erica and their family along with Dad, Linda, Sean and Laura. We are really looking forward to this trip and the opportunity to spend some extended time with everyone we don't see as often. Caleb will get more interaction with his two cousins and aunts and uncles, so we are really excited. We hope to bring Caleb out to the snow for the first time so it should be awesome.
We are hoping to make a trip out to Hawaii in the next 2 years or so, then Caleb can meet and spend time with the rest of his family he hasn't met yet. Andrea has some family in Oahu too, so we are looking forward to when we can bring him there. Since the beaches here are really disgusting it will probably be Caleb's first time out to a beach and in the ocean...
Our little family is doing great and Caleb is growing each and everyday. We hope everyone is doing great and hope to hear from you all sometime soon.

Our little Caleb is 4 1/2 months old now. He is rolling over and his first tooth just broke through his gums! He has been teething for a good month and a half now so it's no suprise to see that little tooth start to poke through! Caleb has also started to eat rice cereal and he really likes it alot. Nick and I celebrated out 3 year anniversary on September 17th and I celebrated my 24 birthday on September 29th. Caleb went on his first trip to Disneyland and got his first set of mouse ears! It was alot of fun to see how Caleb reacted to everything around him!
We are taking a trip to vegas to see nicks parents, for his moms 60th birthday on November 16th-November 18th.
